About Shai

Shai Davids, founder of Machat Ruach, is an experienced, skilled and professional practitioner certified in the field of Chinese medicine (Dipl.Ac.CH), a graduate of Kibbutzim College (2006) and Chengdu University in China.

Shai has over 20 years of experience, during which he has treated thousands of people and was also an active partner in international research in the field of fertility, in collaboration with Kibbutzim College and the DROUOT Fertility Center in Paris. The research was crowned a success and presented in Israel and around the world. He gained his professional experience, among other things, as a practitioner at the Clalit Health Services HMO, as a partner in volunteer projects such as addiction recovery treatments, treatment of people with special needs, and in professional development courses in Israel and abroad.
Shai was part of the treatment team at the veteran ‘Nekudat Maga’ clinic in Jerusalem. He treated at the ’89’ center in Mevaseret Zion and manages the ‘Machat Ruach’ clinic in Jerusalem and Ramat Gan.

Shai sees treatment of body and mind as intertwined, where treatment addresses physical issues while also strengthening and supporting life energy. When approaching his patients, he focuses not only on treating disease symptoms, but also, and mainly, on treating the root of the problem and on the various ways of instilling habits for preventive medicine using professional and effective tools.
The uniqueness of the professional treatment Shai provides stems from his expertise in a wide range of different Chinese acupuncture methods.
In his treatments he combines various methods such as the traditional TCM acupuncture method, acupuncture according to the ‘meridian theory’ method,
the balance method and seasonal balancing according to Dr. Tan and Ilan Magdali, and the unique acupuncture method according to Master Dr. Wei-Chieh Young; a method called the one needle technique, acupuncture with one to 3 needles with an immediate effect! Especially for pain issues. He trained in this method under the personal guidance of Dr. Wei-Chieh Young.

Shai also combines cupping, electro-acupuncture when needed, bloodletting and more.

The treatments are characterized by fast results and great effectiveness. With extensive experience and refined techniques and treatment methods, Shai tailors the treatment personally to each and every patient.
