Physical Accessibility Arrangements – Accessibility Statement

Shai Davids, owner of the ‘Machat Ruach’ clinic, places great importance on accessibility, and views clients with physical, sensory and cognitive disabilities as clients with equal rights. Everyone is entitled to enjoy, reach and/or receive service. We work to provide equal services to all and make accessibility accommodations that enable people with disabilities to access our website, or to receive physical access to the clinic’s services through home treatments.

In accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758–1998, Section 19A, the law defines accessibility as: “the ability to reach a place, move about and find one’s way within it, use and enjoy a service, receive information provided or produced within or in connection with a place or service, use its facilities, and participate in the programs and activities held there, all in an equal, dignified, independent and safe manner.”

Our clinic’s goal is to continuously improve accessibility and availability so that they are also comfortable for people with disabilities of all kinds, thereby allowing the general public to enjoy the service experience through home treatments. Unfortunately, the clinic at 11 Dostai St. is not fully accessible, so a home-visit service is available by prior arrangement, according to the client’s needs and the practitioner’s availability.

Service animal: A person with a disability may make use of a service animal when using the clinic. Where the animal is not a guide dog, proof that it is a service animal must be provided.

Accompanying a person with a disability: A person with a disability is entitled to come to the clinic with a companion. A person with a disability who needs a companion is asked to contact Shai Davids or the practitioner that same day before arrival, in order to receive instructions and arrange this in advance.

Accessibility is not a one-time task. It requires ongoing effort across a wide range of matters. The clinic invests resources and effort to ensure maximum accessibility at all times, even though the clinic itself at 11 Dostai St. is not accessible.
