A year-and-a-half-old boy with a fever that has been rising and falling intermittently for a week now. It rises especially at night.
No appetite, restlessness and lack of rest, loose stools to the point of diarrhea, and blood tests showed no unusual markers.
After acupuncture (performed by inserting the needle and immediately withdrawing it — taking exactly two seconds) at 4 points on the hand and one additional point on the foot –
the fever went down and did not return, the diarrhea stopped, and his energy and color returned to normal.
After an additional treatment, the parents reported that his sleep had also improved and that the child slept through the whole night, something they couldn’t recall happening in a long time.
